They may look like a cross between a wolf and a baby bear, but wolverines are actually the largest of the weasel family, about the size of a dog. They are extremely fierce, able to “take on” animals much bigger than themselves, fighting wolves, reindeer, moose, even bears. Although, wolverines spend most of their lives alone, wolverine babies (called kits or cubs) live with their mothers until they’re 2 years old. Wolverine dads do visit their kits and will even spend time with them once they’re grown, playing with them and showing them how to hunt.
I worked really hard to do this little guy justice and provide another side to the fierce wolverine - 'WOLVERINE CUB', with a touch of innocence. Archival prints are being donated to the Wolverine Foundation for their fundraising efforts.
